Detection of material flows and dangers with "Wasteflow"

The system monitors the quantity of transported material in real time

It also detects the presence of foreign objects and hazardous contents such as batteries, etc.:

Modern devices increasingly use batteries to generate energy. Their presence causes unpleasant surprises at recycling plants. In fact, if not disposed of properly, batteries and accumulators end up in shredders or other components of a manufacturing process, and can thus become a dangerous fire hazard.

Foreign body detection using waste flow

Wasteflow's AI camera systems offer a specific solution to this problem. In addition to material flow analysis for quality monitoring, any hazardous objects such as batteries and accumulators can also be trained and detected, after which a signal can be sent to the system control system if a corresponding object passes through the camera system. This can prevent dangerous entry of disruptive elements.

Hazard detection features

Battery detection

Classic disruptive elements such as batteries or rechargeable batteries from electrical devices can be identified by AI.

Interference element detection

Based on your application, additional specific disturbance elements can be trained. Parameters such as mass, dimensions or material category can be defined as signal triggers.
